Welcome to Lightme! Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our application. By accessing or using Lightme, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Description of Service

Lightme is a note-taking application that allows users to create, edit, organize, and synchronize notes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

2. Account Registration

To access all features of Lightme, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account and password
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to Lightme. However, by uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Lightme for any illegal activities
• Upload or distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Lightme service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any other user's account
• Infringe upon others' intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Lightme may offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Lightme for violations of these terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting the application.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lightme is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that content will be secure and not lost.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Lightme or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the application or on our website. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of your country of residence, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
